Elizabeth Henderson- Alice In Wonderland

While watching this movie I thought it was kind of creepy just looking at some of the visuals like Johnny Depp his face in general was kind of creepy. However, I do feel like the movie showed red and white as heaven and hell. In once scene in particular, when the red queen invaded the festivities of the white queen, and burned up here festival. This particular point made me think of heaven as white and hell as red and on fire which is the typical way many people think of hell. Also similar ways that this movie was broken up was that everybody was unhappy when they had to deal with the red queen and everything was great and happy when they were with the white queen. Also in the end like most hero movies the good guy always has to win. A more symbolic way of looking at white and red is that white is associated with innocence and red is associated with sin and fire.
