Elizabeth Henderson- Influence the psychology of persuasion

On page 217 of this book it talks about how people are persuaded to do things because of religion and the religious background that can be associated with what they are trying to get people to buy or do. This part of the book talks about how in the bible people are supposed to obey the rules and what people superior to them say. They are not supposed to questions authority. While I was reading this I thought about how it sounded like God was telling everybody that he is right and that you should listen to what he has to say and not question it. However, the context in this book is about how people listen to their superiors and do not question what is going on even if their superiors do make a mistake. Although, people get this concept from the bible.
