Kevin Dessimoz - External Reading 1

Coming into CNU as a freshmen I had to read "Into the Wild." This story is about a young man's quest to find himself in the wilderness of Alaska. Chris McCandless gives up his life to travel around the U.S., and eventually settles in a bus in the Alaskan wilderness. This is a very interesting story about introspective thinking and attempting to find one's purpose in life. Ultimately, McCandless dies in the cold Alaskan climate, but he dies doing what he wants to in life and I believe was at peace with the world.
