Daniel Gordon - Student Choice Blog #4 Read a Book!

This last week, my suitemates have watched 13 movies in the living room. What's more, all three of them have their computers in front of them during the movies with either the internet or a game up on the screen. It is technology overload and it disturbs me somewhat. I'm a writer, and while it's true that I love films and write screenplay, I'm also very old-fashioned. I read far more than I watch TV or movies, and I write my screenplays in notebooks, on paper. I just prefer it that way. I think our culture is losing a lot of the value that comes from written media and overloading on TV and video games. These things are good in moderation, but I submit that there is no such thing as reading too much.
