Daniel Gordon - The Thin Red Line

As we watched The Thin Red Line, I thought about various things remotely like the six degrees of separation although not entirely. I was thinking more about how everyone always has their own story and is going through their own experiences. Movies usually obscure this through the view of the protagonist, and in our own lives we obscure the view of other people's stories through our own selfishness and insensitivity. Each of the Characters is going through his own experience; Private Witt has been removed from his island paradise, Sergeant Keck is killed by a grenade, private bell gets a letter from his wife, and so on and so forth... What if we took the time to stop and think about what those around us were experiencing?
