Emily Walker: Esther

1. This semester I also read the book in the Bible known as Esther. It contains the story of a brave Jewish woman that saves her people from a plot buy an evil man named Haman. Haman’s plan was to kill all of the Jewish people. Esther bravely goes before her husband the king and pleads on behalf of her people. I love this story because it shows that even one person can make a difference in history. It also portrays the concept that if once person does not step up nothing will ever get accomplished. She was brave and can be an example for women today. She was selfless and giving and is regarded as an influential woman of the Bible
