I think that faith is one of those elusive things. It means different things to different people and it changes over time. Faith to me is something that affects my moral compass. It dictates how I act in certain situations and how I treat people. It helps me make difficult decisions in my life and leads me through hard times. I try to surround myself with people that have some sort of faith. I think that faith is something that strengthens us and makes us better people. As I’ve gotten older faith has meant different things to me. I also think that it is normal for people to have times when they don’t always feel like having faith. Part of the reason faith is so important to me is because I feel like it’s the one thing that holds me together when life gets out of control. Sometimes people make faith too complicated. They want to make it about a set of rules or a checklist. For me faith is a simple belief that there is a God that cares about me and wants me to have a relationship with Him.
