Eric Saxon - Animals

I have, and always will love animals. I beleive that God put animals on the earth for our enjoyment. I understand that we need animals for food, but I do not understand how people could torture any animal. Dog fighting, cock fighting, and just randomly torturing animals are issues that I find disgusting. I would never kill an animal unless it was in self defense or I was starving and needed food. I cannot see how some people find pleasure in killing or torturing another living thing. In my opinion, God would not be happy with the people who committ these kinds of atrocities against animals.
