The staple verse in Romans for living above the influence of the world in your new faith with Christ.
"Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." Romans 12:2
I like this verse because it talks about a transformation of your body and renewal of your mind. I think in our class this semester we saw a lot of searching for this transformation by the characters in our films. It seems that at some point or another, each individual will be looking for something greater to become. They will search high and low for these answers too. Interesting.
