Andrew Deitrick: Decalogue 2
This section of the film was more interesting to me than the earlier section. The title, "Thou Shall Not Kill," is an obvious overtone for the plot of the story. After watching the film, I almost felt indifferent about the taxi driver's life. The way in which the story is told and revealed to the viewer made me see the people much like I see other creatures in nature. The murder was without any real purpose, and the execution of the murderer didn't seem to make up for the initial murder. I'm not sure if I'm the only one with this type of reaction or not..
