I was reading some of my favorite quotes from C.S. Lewis the other day and the one that stood out to me as noteworthy was this one,
"I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else."
I think that this quote from him essentially sums up the way most christians feel about their faith. We see things in a new light when we follow Christ and it makes things brighter, just as the sun does each day. We have cloudy days and days that it rains, but we do know that one day the sun will shine again through our faith. This is a new hope for many people who haven't heard of it.
