Sean Burns- The Beatitudes- Matthew 5 3-12

As I read through this passage Christianity can be seen as a religion for the helpless and hopeless. The least on earth will be the greatest in heaven according to Jesus' teachings. God shows us that what we see as powerful and admirable is the opposite of what God deems powerful and admirable. Jesus says that in order to be served by the Father, we must first serve each other and become meek and humble.
