Sex abuse by priests has plagued that Catholic church for some time now. The fact that so many priests have abused children has driven many people away from the church. However, there are bad and hypocritical people in every part of life. The actions of a few do not represent the actions of many. In other words, just because some priests have committed sexual abuse, does not mean all priests have. The majority of priests live by the word of God and would never even think of abusing children. Pedophilia has become a major problem in society. It exists in all walks of life. Those who believe in heaven and hell should not hate the priests, for they will soon be judged by a higher power.
